Prepare for a high-octane collaboration that'll rev engines and warm hearts. That Others May Rise and Mad Max Motors Group are joining forces to unleash “Project Viam" The Way" to Ultimately find a Way or make one– A mission about to shift gears for veterans and partisans.

Mission and Vision

Project “Veteran” Viam (VV) mission is to build, modify, and repair motorcycles for disabled veterans, fostering a strong sense of team, camaraderie, and belonging. The project aims to create a supportive environment where veterans and partisans (supporters) learn, gather, and cultivate mutual respect within the community.

Vision is to establish a vibrant community where all veterans and partisans who want to engage discover purpose, healing, and connection through their shared passion for motorcycles and the bonds of camaraderie.

The Master Mechanic Behind Mad Max Motors Group!: At the wrench end of this chrome-plated crusade is Jeffrey Powell, retired USAF Combat Controller, Pararescueman, and maintenance officer. With Mad Max Motors Group, he's bringing his mechanical skills to Project VV as a certified Motorcycle Mechanics Institute graduate!

Strategic Goals
1. Build a Modified Bike for Disabled Veterans Monthly
Objective 1.1: Establish a streamlined process for building modified bikes.  Start Slow, Prove Concept, also this would adjust based on a new build vice a modification as described below.
Task 1.1.1: Develop a detailed project plan template for each bike build as required, minimum required.
Task 1.1.2: Identify and secure partnerships with suppliers for parts and materials. - Motorcycle Part Companies
Task 1.1.3: Recruit and train partisans to assist in the bike-building process and wrench therapy.

Objective 1.2: Secure funding and resources to support monthly bike builds.  
Task 1.2.1: Launch a fundraising campaign targeting individual donors and corporate sponsors.
                         1.2.1.1 Estimate cost for bike and build
                         1.2.1.2 Approach possible Veteran org: DAV,  AMVETS, AM Legion, etc
                         1.2.1.3 Approach Corporate Sponsors:  HD, Indian, Motorcycle Part Companies, etc..
     
Task 1.2.2: Apply for grants specifically aimed at supporting veteran initiatives.
Task 1.2.3: Organize community events to raise awareness and funds.

Measures of Performance / Effectiveness:
Number of bikes built and delivered to veterans each month. Performance
Amount of funds raised and resources secured.  Performance
Feedback from veterans receiving the bikes.  Effectiveness

Goal 2. Complete Modifications for Disabled Veterans
Objective 2.1: Create a comprehensive modification program for those who already own bikes.
Task 2.1.1: Develop a catalog of common modifications and custom options.
Task 2.1.2: Establish a modification request and assessment process.
Task 2.1.3: Train staff and volunteers on specific modification techniques. - Long Term

Objective 2.2: Increase capacity to handle multiple modification projects simultaneously.
Task 2.2.1: Expand workshop facilities and acquire necessary tools and equipment.
Task 2.2.2: Build a network of skilled mechanics and technicians - Long Term.
Task 2.2.3: Implement a project management system to track progress and deadlines.

Measures of Performance / Effectiveness:
Number of motorcycles modified and delivered. Performance
Efficiency and turnaround time for modification projects. Performance
Satisfaction ratings from veterans on the modifications made.  Effectiveness

Goal 3. Build a Sense of Team, Lasting Connections, and a Sense of Belonging
Objective 3.1: Organize regular social and educational events, initially slow then build to more.
Task 3.1.1: Plan monthly gatherings, such as rides, workshops, and social events.
Task 3.1.2: Develop a calendar of events and promote it through various channels.
Task 3.1.3: Partner with local organizations to co-host events and expand reach.

Objective 3.2: Foster mentorship and peer support programs.
Task 3.2.1: Establish a mentorship program connecting experienced veterans with newcomers.
Task 3.2.2: Create peer support groups focused on shared interests and challenges.
Task 3.2.3: Provide training for mentors and group facilitators.
Measures of Performance / Effectiveness:
Attendance and participation rates at events. Performance
Number of active mentorship pairs and peer support groups.  Performance
Qualitative feedback on the sense of community and belonging from participants.  Effectiveness

Summary
Project Veteran Viam aims to empower not only wounded and disabled veterans but all veterans and those who desire to support the veteran community by building and modifying motorcycles, fostering a supportive community, and creating lasting connections. By focusing on the  strategic goals—building a modified bike monthly, completing motorcycle modifications, and building a sense of team and belonging—we will measure our success and effectiveness through the number of bikes built, modifications completed, and ultimately the strength of our community and effectivenss of those we are working with and through. This strategic plan will guide our efforts to provide purpose, healing, and connection to our veteran community.
