Our vision is to establish a vibrant community where all veterans and partisans who engage discover purpose, healing, and connection through their shared passion for motorcycles and the bonds of camaraderie.

BURDEN, BLUNDER OR BLESSING
"Why are we spending money to help others outside of the USA? Why are we helping the homeless in another country, when veterans are on the street? Why help elsewhere, while many children in the USA are hungry"? I see and hear these statements often on the news, the internet, and social media. The simple answers are that we are blessed as a nation, are a nation of hope and faith; a beacon for the world to not only see, but experience as the embodiment of opportunity, work, and dreams. A more basic answer is, that it's practical and logical to engage early vice late. Finally, the questions above are just the wrong questions. It isn't a question of either/or, it's a question of accountability, respect, and responsibility turned into action.
ISOLATION: From the very beginning our nation wanted to stay isolated and out of the entanglements of Europe and elsewhere. That didn't last from day 1 and we may not even have formed into a nation without outside engagement (Revolutionary War, War of 1812, Civil War, etc.). Engagement with other nations and their people ultimately benefits us all as we Earned a long time ago, we can't hide from our responsibility, and its pay now or pay more later (WWI / WWII / etc.). I don't suggest we get directly engaged in every war, conflict or need, but we can engage in many other ways, from a stability effort. As a nation and a people, we have something to offer.
VETERANS: Ensuring no homeless veterans or all veteran's healthcare needs are taken care of before we engage elsewhere. I do not argue with either action in theory or some actions. But I do have cautions, concerning a mandate in these areas. The first caution is every veteran sacrificed for freedom of choice; they have the right to live as they choose. We must respect that right, even if it doesn't match our perspective. Engage, ensure they are capable of handling themselves, and respect their decisions. I could write pages on the mandates for our veterans and have written to every Veteran Administration Secretary since 2013. Accountability and responsibility are the mandates of the VA. The funding is there and that is not including the numerous nonprofit programs for veterans. How they are used is a different matter and being held accountable is crucial to ensure, actions are measured and not only more money thrown at the issues.
YOUTH: Refugees over our children, of course not, our own must have the basics of safety, security, and sustainment. Family first, no different than America first, that is not a recent concept, but it doesn't mean Family Only or America Only! If we accept a refugee then we have an obligation of human decency, a responsibility of caring, and as a nation one of strength. Note: Refugees are accepted while overseas, asylees are at our borders, and immigration is legal immigration.
SPENDING: Federal spending for health/welfare, social security, education, etc., is over $2 Trillion annually, almost two-thirds (2/3) of the entire budget; how much of that is wasted or abused? Adding more dollars to waste is like adding more water to a hose that is full of leaks, it might help a little, but ultimately the waste increases and it becomes too much to overcome.
ACCOUNTABILITY: Is it a burden that we carry, a blunder that we are executing, or a blessing that we are given to be able to help others in this world? Take care of the US first, but hold ourselves accountable vice looking to spend more or pointing elsewhere to place blame. As a country, we will be spending more on our national debt interest, than on youth or veteran programs. Accountability is a mandate and a critical question for all the programs we are executing for veterans and children. If we don’t assure accountability that is our Burden and Blunder. We are Blessed to have the ability to take care of our own, but also to reach out to others. It is not an either/or question, it is an accountability action. It strengthens us as a nation, sustains us as a people, and ultimately secures a world.
