Recently when a local church in Praia had their organ and some electrical equipment burglarized, we were able to work with the local pastor to replace the organ for the church service that Sunday. The pastor scouted the local market and working with a local businessman was able to find a great replacement that we purchased the next day. In the end this was a great surprise to the local church members and kept the money in the local economy. The picture above presenting the organ from left to right are: Angelo Mendes a trusted and valuable advisor to our foundation, Angela Miller a founder and director of the foundation, Maria Mendes a respected and critical Board Member and director, and Pastor Silas accepting the gift on behalf of the local church (held in a member's garage).
