Chairs for the Little Ones

While in Cabo Verde we visited a small church that is held in a garage.  After speaking with Pastor Silas, we discussed with local Board Members the option to build children's chairs for the church, as the only chairs available were for the adult congregation.  There was a local craftsman who could build some sturdy wooden chairs for the children.  We made a contract with the craftsmen who is currently building the chairs.  This fit our principles of working within the local economy to benefit the children, the church, and provides much needed work to the craftsman.   Notice the empty organ stand on the left of the picture, this picture was taken right after the burglary mentioned on our other post.
